romad1 Posted Sunday at 09:06 PM Posted Sunday at 09:06 PM This team is starting out exactly like my MLB The Show Beginner's Mode franchise. I didn't lose a game for the first month of the season and that was because I accidentally simulated a day and it gave me an L. Quote

Sounds like he hit the weights this off-season. Peña mentioned he looks more muscular and there was a brief discussion on bulk vs flexibility. Quote

When the jersey numbers are 60 or higher and Dickerson struggles to figure out who is out there, I usually drift off. It’s ok though. Players are building up their game day stamina throughout the spring, and I can do the same. I’ll be ready for 9 innings by end of camp, don’t none of you worry about that. Quote
IdahoBert Posted Monday at 12:09 AM Posted Monday at 12:09 AM Of course it’s early spring. It doesn’t mean a lot, but a couple good innings from Casey Mize, and some hitting by Keith, Jung, and Dingler is certainly good to see. 1 Quote
1776 Posted Monday at 12:27 AM Posted Monday at 12:27 AM The fact that Maeda and Mize both looked good the first time out is encouraging. Manning struggling as he did was disappointing because I know he’s aware of the expectations and has to be frustrated. As of now it looks as though tomorrow’s game may well get washed out. If the forecast is even close to being accurate, I don’t see them playing. 1 Quote
IdahoBert Posted Monday at 12:31 AM Posted Monday at 12:31 AM I didn’t know that they were all free MLB games of the day although it didn’t make much difference I was out with a friend and only got to follow the game on at bat toward the end. So I’m watching the Yankees feed right now. Quote

Yankees announcers didn't even try to figure out who was in the field for Detroit. An 8th inning fly ball was caught by "Centerfielder." Cool name...😅 Quote

Don’t they have a producer that can help with this? There was about 30 seconds of dead air when they were trying to figure out who our left fielder was that had made a nice catch. Quote
