They actually had to correct a statement that Musk was CEO, and not the founder of Tesla? I thought most people knew that, let alone a news site like NBC.

Because his profile on the Tesla website lists him as the co-founder.  He received that designation when they settled their lawsuit years ago.  But he had nothing to do with Tesla until their first round of funding.

I got a call from my Dad, his entire church coffee group...people aged 75-95 will be protesting on April 5 in Oceana County wherever the big event is.  I think the county seat in Hart.  I'll be coaching a softball game that day unfortunately.

What is everybody protesting now? There is much **** going on, it's hard to choose.  The anti-Musk thing seems to be working as GOP kind of wants him out of there.

Unfortunately I was unable to protest, although the fans at my softball game at Washington and Liberty HS in Arlington must have come from a protest because I saw some "Hands Off" posters.  Now I ask you...is there a more Northern Virginia/Washington DC team sponsor than this?

I was up in Lansing today exercising my 1st Amendment right and protesting. There were probably around 3,000 or so people there. Lt. Governor Garlin Gilchrist spoke, as did Attorney General Dana Nessel, and a few of the State Representatives.

It's really awesome to see the American people stand up to Trump.

Meanwhile, today in the Peoples Republic of Ann Arbor, the best we could do was the annual deadbeat be-in known as the Hash Bash. 🙄

Evidently it was estimated that there were 100,000 people at the event in Boston yesterday-not everybody could fit into City Hall Plaza. We had Lt. Governor Driscoll, Sen. Markey, Rep. Pressley, and Mayor Wu as some of our speakers.

I made the mistake of reading comments to a Fox Digital story about it-evidently we 'don't know what we're protesting' or 'don't want to work real jobs' and I've also seen a few cases in which it's insinuated that we're vandals and that there was violence. And as for George Soros-he must be broke if he's really paying 3.5 million people to show up to these things.

So... while I wasn't approached yesterday, I'm thinking it would be a good thing to have a prepared statement to give if somebody does decide to ask me for a comment. Though TBH, as a poster near me said, the number of things I'm mad about don't exactly fit on a standard poster board. 😉

Prepared statement:

"Fraud is a prosecutable crime. There is indeed fraud in Government. President Trump, for example has been found guilty on 34 counts of fraud."

Not only does nobody have to pay any of these 100,000 people to show up, I would bet that a high percentage of them would have paid ten or twenty bucks for the pleasure of showing up.

Many of them traveled to various protests-from the price of a subway ticket all the way up to an airline ticket and possibly room and board. And they probably were glad to do it!

I'm still waiting to hear my Dad tell the story of how a life-long Republican, middle-of-the-road guy who spent his entire life playing by the rules was joined by the rest of the blue haired folks in Oceana County to protest.
