Wow...Cade with a behind the back dribble to shake a defender and then an ally oop pass to Duren. Right after he took the ball full court for a bunny. The reason the Pistons can play SO fast is because of Cade. I'm starting to like the kid.

Quite the close out to win it.  I simply cannot believe the turnaround this team has had.

+1. I thought they would wear down in the 4th. I gotta say though...tons of respect for Harden. The guy is still a force. Very hard to contain.

That alley oop he threw from beyond the ar  was amazing

After several years of bottom dwelling in all 4 Detroit sports, good times are definitely back, better than ever because it's spearheaded by the Lions.

Cade has such incredible body control. When he is near the basket he's able to work around and through the D, including rim protectors. He almost reminds me of Adrian Dantley with pg skills and perimeter touch. In the Spurs game Avery Johnson called him a maestro

Good win against a vet team. The Boston game might be the biggest Pistons regular season game in 15 years, nice for the current version but also sad at the same time considering how awful the last 15 years have been.

Whispers of Embiid missing 6-12 months to fix his knee. Talks of micro fracture which I didn't know they still did. Also talking about breaking his hip so they can realign some stuff. Didn't sound fun.

Entering the playoffs with Harris as your number two. I don't know man.

teams will be salivating at the thought of tobias harris as detroit's second scorer.  ask philly how well that went.

double cade, stick someone on beasley, and then let the ball flow to harris and let him shoot.  sweeptastic.

Ausar’s ability to drive against anyone could be the great equalizer.

i'm not expecting much from the pistons in the playoffs this year, any wins or advancement will be gravy.

but still hoping to see cade drop 50 on boston...

Sure but he's been really good the last 10 games or so albeit against weaker competition. I think of Beasley as their #2 scorer anyway.

Regardless, the Pistons are playing with house money this year so it doesn't matter much who their #2 option is now anyway. Starting next year though, Langdon needs to build a roster capable of taking the next step. I think the current group even with a healthy Ivey has a limited ceiling without a legit #2 to team with Cade.

Duren can get to the basket ...would love to see him drive from the high post..easy dunk if no help comes. Dish to the open wing if it does

Can we talk about Cade's bag of moves? Pull-up three, in-out dribble, post hook, mid-range, drives, you name it. He can score in so many ways and he's still learning. This dude is a force and will absolutely cost this team more money in the off-season because he's going to make All NBA third team. Oh, let's not forget about the 3 steals as he's becoming more of a 2-way player as well.

Say what you will about the Tobias signing, but he's been really good for this team. All the players have talked about his leadership on and off the court. His three point shot is still struggling, but he's been good on the board, in the post, making the right play, and just a calming presence when they hit those scoring lulls. He's at the top of the league in +/- as well.

Ausar is our Draymond and I love every minute of it. Harden was 5-22 last night with 7 turnovers and a -22 rating with Ausar in his shirt most of the time (Schroder hounded him a bit as well). Yea, he'll have some awkward moments, but the dude had 6 stocks in 25 minutes last night. That's insane. He doesn't have Curry handing him 5 easy assists a game, but his ceiling is higher than Green's due to his athleticism and body-type.

Stew is so valuable. His stat-line doesn't show it, but he led the defensive effort for that bench unit at the end of the 3rd and into the 4th when they got the 10 point lead with Cade on the bench. He just makes it so tough for dudes to score, even giants like Zubac struggle against him.

I don't expect wins against Boston or Denver, we're still not championship contenders, but regardless this team has been a ton of fun to watch. 32 wins already after coming off of a 14 win season is a crazy story. This team is sitting in 6th - a guaranteed playoff spot right now - while being 3.5 games ahead of the 7th seed and only 1 game behind the 4th seed.
