He hits so many big shots for us and then he has games like tonight where he just lights it up. We have to pay what it takes to keep him. Thankfully they can only pay him $14M per. Now we just have to hope it isn't longer than 2 years. Quote

February has been Ausar's best month statistically. I don't think it's a coincidence the Pistons are hot right now. We can't afford to lose him. Quote

Shinzaki Posted February 27 Posted February 27 The thing I like about Holland is that he isn't afraid to shoot the ball. The thing I dislike about Holland is he likes to shoot the ball... 1 Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted February 27 Posted February 27 (edited) They just blasted one of the best teams in the NBA. - or - The Celtics just lost to one the best teams in the NBA. So much for this "they have a weaker schedule" bullspit. Edited February 27 by Motor City Sonics Quote

papalawrence Posted February 27 Posted February 27 It's rare to see such a young team gel like this. Like a well-oiled machine. Cade's pace and poise are a pleasure to watch. "The Pistons win again!" Quote
papalawrence Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Just saw that Denver plays the Bucks tomorrow so like Boston they'll be on a back to back. If they beat Denver I think they'll truly be the talk of the league along with Cleveland and of course LAL Quote
RandyMarsh Posted February 27 Posted February 27 The last time the Pistons won 8 in a row I was in my mid 20s....I am now in my early 40s. Quote

Might see them rest some people since this will be their middle game. Quote
Deleterious Posted February 27 Posted February 27 This is that play I said I wish he had scored. Quote

Wait, what? Beasley has been amazing this year, in his role. THJ sure, Tobias earlier in the season sure but Beasley doesn't belong in that group. Quote

Nothing I said was a knock on Beasley, he has been great here. 1 Quote
Deleterious Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Pistons are in it with Indiana and Milwaukee right now. We don't play Indiana again in the regular season. We play a home and home with Milwaukee the final two games of the year. I kinda sorta feel Milwaukee will be the team of those three that fades so maybe those games won't mean much. Quote

It did seem like you took a shot at him when you say it's no surprise that the Pistons got badly outplayed with Beasley, and the other two, on the court. The Pistons are a good team and he's been their 2nd best player (offensively at least). Ideally you don't want him to be that going forward but he's been a god send for this team this year on and off the court tbh. Beware of overpaying him though, that I'd agree with. Quote
