Betrayer Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Sam and Bryce talking about the Pistons as the best surprise of the NBA season. Quote
Deleterious Posted March 13 Author Posted March 13 I lost the tweet but the league fined Utah $100K for violating the player participation rule. Basically for tanking and making it a bit obvious. Quote
Deleterious Posted March 13 Author Posted March 13 He has one game this year where he did not score at least twenty points. He scored eighteen. Quote
Hongbit Posted March 13 Posted March 13 The league’s top crisis actor conned the refs into giving him 21 free throw attempts last night. He made them all. He’s currently 67 for his last 68 FT with the only miss being intentional. Quote
Deleterious Posted March 13 Author Posted March 13 29 last night but on 23 shots. Defense was excellent as usual. As fun as that stat is, that is not who Grimes is. He is a bench guy that will come in and shoot well from 3, get you 10-12 points per game and be one of your best on ball defenders. Quote
Deleterious Posted March 13 Author Posted March 13 Cleveland is just the 6th team in NBA history to have two 15 game win streaks in the same season. Quote

RandyMarsh Posted March 13 Posted March 13 The Cavs were already an elite team but getting Deandre Hunter just took them to even a higher level. 15-2 the rest of the way gets them to that rare 70 win total. Quote
Deleterious Posted March 15 Author Posted March 15 They were just fined $100K for stuff like this. Curious to see what happens last night. Quote

I would take away half of their ping pong balls for something as blatant as last night. Wherever they end up, cut their chances in half. Take those ping pong balls and evenly distribute them among the other 29 teams. Do it a second time and your 1st round pick is vacated. Quote
Deleterious Posted March 15 Author Posted March 15 Lebron about to push for the elimination of one and done. Quote
Deleterious Posted March 15 Author Posted March 15 Oh Dallas. Exum broke his hand last night. They now have 8 healthy players on their roster. Two of those 8 are two-way players and those guys are only allowed to play so many games. One of them has 3 games of eligibility left, the other has six games left. Dallas has 14 games left. Worse, they can't sign anyone until April 10th. They will only have 2 games left at that point. Rules say you have to dress 8 players or forfeit. Dallas might end up dressing injured players just so they don't forfeit. Quote

buddha Posted March 16 Posted March 16 The basketball gods are punishing them for trading a generational player for a sack of beans. Quote
Hongbit Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Dallas won’t have to worry about where the offense will come from since Naji Marshall jacks up shots like he’s an all star. He’s never seen a shot that he didn’t like. . Quote
buddha Posted March 16 Posted March 16 hilarious to watch 7 foot kat being guarded by 6'6 draymond greene and refusing to post up. so much so that draymond is calling him soft every time down the floor and he proves him right by standing on the perimeter every time. 1 Quote
