I hate Twitter...X, or whatever you wanna call it. Stupid, stupid idiots talking crap and getting my heart possibly broken. This is what I see when I open that god forsaken app;

LOL - you weren't the only one who didn't like the headline, they've  already amended it to insert the word "opponent's" in front of "ankles".

It got me for a second too, but then I realized it said ankleS and I could not see how he would have broken both of them.

Yeah, that phrase seems to me to usually apply to field sports like football/futball, or to basketball where you fake someone out and they can’t adjust and basically fall down. Are they assigning non-baseball writers to cover the Tigers?

I guess Bo Bichette did fall down.

"Skubal’s seven swinging strikes included a curveball that sent Bichette falling over on his swing."

Yeah, I'm tired of checking everything people post. 3/4 of them are lies or clickbait. This one was "trying to be cute" clickbait. Don't even suggest a serious injury to the best pitcher on the planet!

Its long since moved past time to leave the app.  There are alternatives that are not owned by nazis.

That headline was not generated by X—it either came from the Free Press or Petzold and would appear that way on any platform.

Feel free to hate X, but it had nothing to do with some shoddy journalism.

It's too bad you can't even read the Tigers forum on this site without having some whiney liberal with severe TDS post their politely crap.

Its too bad the sports journalism community has to use a site owned by a nazi.

Aside from Skubal it looks like Fetter has his work cut out for him with the other guys who pitched today.

Are any of them, other than Foley, making this team anyway?

Ah, can't worry about spring training performances until March 15th anyway.     Might be working on new things they're not comfortable doing yet.   Won't do that when the games count.

In the past, reporters did not headline their stories, that was done by editors - but I'm not sure if there are any editors left at any local newspapers so take that bit of past practice FWIW.

Yeah, I get that. My only point is you can't believe anything from that site without double checking to see if it's true. I used to be able to trust sports news and rumors from there but now everything i read is taken with a grain of salt. It's a cesspool.
