Deleterious Posted Wednesday at 10:02 PM Posted Wednesday at 10:02 PM Clippers played last night so a bunch of guys are sitting today. Powell is a legit injury though. Quote

Deleterious Posted Thursday at 01:17 PM Posted Thursday at 01:17 PM Games like that will haunt them if they start the playoffs on the road. Quote
ben9753 Posted Thursday at 02:55 PM Posted Thursday at 02:55 PM Can't win 'em all. A rematch on the road against a pretty good team, I'm not surprised they dropped this one. Quote
Hongbit Posted Thursday at 05:38 PM Posted Thursday at 05:38 PM Sorry about this one guys. This is on me. I had Pistons as last leg of a 6 team ML parlay. My bad. I won’t do this again. 1 Quote
Betrayer Posted Thursday at 05:45 PM Posted Thursday at 05:45 PM Not a fan of starting Beasley in the absence of Harris. It moves Ausar to the 4 and gives away the height/length advantage you use to create disruption and get out in transition. I'd say start Simone, but he's been trash so maybe Holland or Stew. They only turned LA over 9 times in this game so they're best offense (transition) failed them and they weren't hitting threes to make up for it. And then there's the Harden stuff... Now that Embiid is out, he's the worst player in the NBA to watch. Foul merchant, flopping at every fingertip that touches him and getting to the line 20 times - more times than the entire Piston team. Cade took more shots and 6 less threes than Harden, but only got to the line 6 times. Harden's game is trash basketball and somehow Silver thinks that's what fans want to watch. Terrible game from Duren, but he was also put in a terrible position all night with penetration causing him to leave Zubac who just cleaned up because nobody was there to put a body on him after Duren went to help. I'll say it. They really missed Tobias. Partly because he's been a solid vet for the past several months but also partly because this team doesn't have any NBA PFs outside of him. Quote
Deleterious Posted Friday at 03:09 AM Posted Friday at 03:09 AM Pacers lose. Haliburton and Mathurin both were out with an injury. Quote
Deleterious Posted Friday at 12:56 PM Posted Friday at 12:56 PM Just skimmed it real fast and it looks like a decent argument. My one critique would be that All NBA is now positionless. Not sure it changes anything, but you can't just compare Cade to guards. 1 Quote

Agree and especially so as it ties in so heavily to qualify for supermax. Quote

Deleterious Posted Friday at 01:10 PM Posted Friday at 01:10 PM Not trying to celebrate a players injury. But Jalen Brunson left last night Knicks game with what looked like a bad lower leg injury. No word yet on what it is. Even if Detroit cant make up the 5 games on NYK it could mean something in the playoffs if he has to miss a lot of time. Quote
Hongbit Posted Friday at 01:14 PM Posted Friday at 01:14 PM Ankles are the worst. Every twist, turn, and sprain feels like it’s broken. Quote

Only question now is if he's second team. I haven't done the math on which players won't be eligible, but there are a lot of guys who missed significant time this year. Quote

If they pass the Knicks and take 3rd, then we need to pass the Pacers and take 5th. Quote
Deleterious Posted Friday at 06:23 PM Posted Friday at 06:23 PM I think Indiana might be the slightly better team. But Milwaukee has something they dont and that is two guys who can win a series by themselves. Worse, as good as Ausar is on defense, Dame and Giannis are very difficult assignments for him. And who guards the one Thompson doesn't guard? The Bucks are a bad matchup for us IMO. 1 Quote
