Cade's great but we got to figure out how to create offense late in games without turning it over.  This seems like it has been an ongoing issue for Cade specifically.  Teams just blitz him pretty much as soon as he crosses half court.  I thought it was interesting that the Warriors moved Steph off the ball quite a bit late in the game.

I didn't see the whole game but the Piston's defense was outstanding from what I saw.  There has definitely been a culture shift where all five guys on the court are working hard on defense a lot more than most NBA teams.  Stewart and Ausar set the tone.  Obviously, the coaches deserve a lot of credit.  And having meaningful games is a big part of it also.  

It's too bad Steph banked in that three late in the game.  That was probably the difference.

Milwaukee also lost last night.  So couldn't gain ground on both of those teams losing.  But we didn't lose any either.  

5.5 games behind NYK for the 3rd seed

2 games behind Milwaukee for the 4th seed

1 game behind Indiana for the 5th seed

5 games ahead of Atlanta for the 6th seed

Tobias coming back should help.   He’s a bit polarizing with the fanbase but the staff views him as one of their most important players.

The Draymond 3 pointer was the final dagger we couldn't recover from.

Agree, it shouldn’t have happened that way.   But part of Stewart’s issue is that he allows himself to respond badly often enough that he’s got the reputation of a quick fuse now.  They also gave Curry a tech, but I think the ref mentioned it was for responding to Stewart rather than instigating.

Two tough losses in a row. You're seeing teams blitz Cade a lot and it's causing all kinds of problems for this offense. Luckily the defense has been pretty sound and it's keeping them in games.

Not sure how you solve that problem with this roster, but expect it to be dialed up to 11 in the playoffs when teams actually strategize to exploit weaknesses and mismatches.
