Clark and McGonigle though too. Even though they won’t make the team, it’s good to see them contribute even if it is against the kind of competition they’ve already seen in the minors. Quote

I wish our guys were tough as Primož Roglič. In a Tour de France race on TV, I saw the Slovenian cyclist Primož Roglič reset his own horrendously dislocated shoulder back into place and refuse the help of spectators not only because he knew better what he was doing than they did, but because their aid would break the rules. He got back on his bike and road several more stages with this injury in immense pain before leaving the race after securing the overall TDF victory for his teammate Jonas Vingegaard. He’s a more civil version of Aatami Korpi from the Finnish movie SISU. I wish our guys were tough like this. Quote

It's a nerve thing, right? Those injuries are totally unpredictable. This hurts because the version of Meadows from the last two months of the season is an All-Star. I can't see Perez being the every day CF. It's between Jones or Kreidler. Kreidler has the advantage because he's already on the 40-man roster, but I've never seen much from him. They could go find someone and make a small trade. How about Matthew Gregory Vierling? How close is he? He's pretty valuable to this team. Quote
Tiger337 Posted March 15 Posted March 15 The Meadows injury is discouraging. He is probably the single most important defender on a team that relies heavily on pitching and he has a lot of upside offensively. A long absence would create a big void in the line-up and decrease their playoff chances significantly. Quote

With Baddoo down, who else is there to pair with Perez? Jones or Kreidler. Yeesh. Greene is only playing center at the end of a game if there are no other options. I sense a (minor) trade coming). Or maybe just an outright release of Kreidler or McKinstry. Quote
