Tigeraholic1 Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Detroit, MI - Little Caesars Arena Pistons 37-30 Thunder 54-12 Looking ahead: 3/17 vs Pelicans 18-49 Quote
Deleterious Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Some of that Pistons magic of dodging good players continues. Chet and Williams are out tonight. Wiggins listed as questionable. And that is Jalen Williams, not Jaylin Williams. Nothing strange on the Pistons injury report. Quote
buddha Posted March 15 Posted March 15 its really sad how much of that you see in the nba. you dont see it in any other sport like you do in nba basketball. Quote
Deleterious Posted March 15 Posted March 15 JB has been much better than I expected at culture building and getting guys to play hard. Still not a huge fan of his X's and O's though. Balance minutes? The kid is 21 years old. I think he has played 30+ minutes one time this year. Quote
Deleterious Posted March 15 Posted March 15 What does Detroit do if Schroder doesn't want to return this summer? You can't start next season with Sasser as the backup PG. Quote
Deleterious Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Stewart is going to end up as the starting center in the playoffs. Quote
Deleterious Posted March 16 Posted March 16 OKC received SGA and the draft pick they used to pick Jalen Williams in the Paul George trade. Quote
Deleterious Posted March 16 Posted March 16 They had to level one of the rims so they are giving the players a few mins to shoot around and warm up again before they start the 2nd half. Quote
Deleterious Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Yep. Cade just got tossed for arguing with the refs. Quote

That Pistons pick was used by LAC to draft Miles Bridges. SGA was drafted by Charlotte and traded to LAC on draft night. Bridges was part of the package that went to Charlotte. Quote
Deleterious Posted March 16 Posted March 16 They played hard after Cade got tossed. Schroder was really good and ended up with 17 and 11. Quote
Deleterious Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Bucks up by about 20 on Indiana in the 4th. So they will be up 2 games on Detroit. Indiana will be up 1. We play Milwaukee the last two games of the season. Quote
Deleterious Posted March 16 Posted March 16 One complaint. Everyone saw that Cade ejection coming. JB needs to get out on the court and get between him and the ref. Yeah you will get tossed but better you than Cade. 1 Quote
buddha Posted March 16 Posted March 16 that type of stuff might be counterproductive in the long run. refs will start to hate you, or just laugh at you. no one gives a damn about the pistons outside of detroit. no offense. but as a fan, i appreciate someone airing our grievances. Quote
Deleterious Posted March 16 Posted March 16 I hope that kick to the family jewels is why Ausar wasn't in there at the end. That would be better than another coaching blunder of not having your best defensive player on the court against a possible league MVP. 1 Quote

We have to keep in mind that Ausar is coming off of a serious blood clot issue so I believe that's why Bickerstaff is monitoring his minutes. Bickerstaff is like a Dwayne Casey clone. Great culture builder, players coach, the type of coach to lay a successful foundation but not the type of coach that will elevate a team to true contender status due to questionable in game management. Except they announced a couple weeks ago that the 30 minute restriction had been lifted, so that's not the reason. Quote
