Tigeraholic1 Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Detroit, MI - Little Caesars Arena Pistons 39-32 Pelicans 19.52 Looking ahead: 3/25 vs Spurs 30-39 Quote
Deleterious Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Zion and Missi both listed as questionable. That is on top of all the other guys listed as out. Quote
Deleterious Posted March 23 Posted March 23 The Piston's magic number to secure a top 6 finish is still 8. The Hawks host Philly tonight at 6PM. Quote
Deleterious Posted March 23 Posted March 23 I feel bad for her. Fly halfway around the world to see a bunch of players sitting out. Quote
Deleterious Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Thompson with 3 fouls before I even flip to the game for the first time. Quote
Deleterious Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Kelly Olynyk and Bruce Brown. I have seen this team before. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Stewart shooting, and making, a 3 pointer brings out a cheer from me. Nobody even guarded him. 😆 Quote
RatkoVarda Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Cavs might lose their 5th in a row - and to a Jazz team that is begging to lose Quote
Deleterious Posted March 23 Posted March 23 The league should be embarrassed that these two rosters played a basketball game today. Quote
Hart Posted March 23 Posted March 23 I don't know what is going on with Ausar but the ceiling is a lot lower if his role is going to be reduced. Quote
Deleterious Posted March 23 Posted March 23 As much as I love the NBA, the final 10-15 games of the season are always so brutal to watch. Every year at this time I just want the playoffs to start. Excited about the 3 game stretch with CLE/MIN/OKC. Minnesota is playing for seeding. OKC and CLE are playing for the overall #1 seed. So we should get a decent game from them. The Knicks could sit people if Indiana can't catch them, so that might be more garbage. Then you have to hope we are within 1 game of Milwaukee for the final 2 games. If we are 2 out, then there is no reason to play anyone. Quote
buddha Posted March 23 Posted March 23 i feel like this is a relatively new phenomenon, like in the last 20 years. back when players played every game i dont think tanking or sitting people at the end of the year was ever an issue. but im old and could be misremembering the 80s, etc. Quote
Deleterious Posted March 24 Posted March 24 Hawks won tonight. Pistons magic number still dropped to 7 though. It is still possible mathematically. But I would say the Knicks are safe from Detroit and The Pistons are safe from Atlanta. Some crazy stuff would have to take place for either one to happen. Quote

I‘m pretty sure the number dropped from 7 to 6 today. 46 wins would guarantee the 6th seed. Hawks can‘t do better than 46 and the Pistons have the tiebreaker over them. 2 Quote

Deleterious Posted March 25 Posted March 25 Pacers win again. I don't know if I really want to play them. They could catch the Knicks. Quote
Deleterious Posted March 25 Posted March 25 (edited) Milwaukee just tipped off against Phoenix. Edited March 25 by Deleterious Quote
Deleterious Posted March 25 Posted March 25 Bucks lose by 2 to Phoenix. Pistons are a half game behind. I felt dirty pulling for Durant. 1 Quote

Maybe they'll catch the Knicks for 3rd and we'll catch the Bucks for 5th. Those two games at the end of the season could be big ones for seeding. Quote
