Hanifee had some pretty decent movement on those pitches. Also the strike zone box for the first time in any of the games I’ve watched this spring is finally being imposed above the plate. I can really live without that.

That was my sometime AAT that was mic'd up. I'm still frosted about that trade. Actually I wouldn't call sending out either Ray or Adames among the Tigers' finer moves. I really didn't like David Price.

That trade haunts us to this day.

In honor of this game being in California, I ran over to the local In-N-Out Burger and got a hamburger and a chocolate milkshake. We have a **** ton of Californians moving to Idaho, and finally they had to be placated by bringing their favorite burger joint here. We have three of them now in my area. It’s inexpensive and good enough. Pretty decent milkshake for only four bucks. Nothing to write home about though.

I've had family in CA for 40 yrs so have been out there a lot. I remember my BIL carrying on about In-and-Out once when we were travelling with them to the Sierra's so we had to make a stop. It was good - but I'm basically not a burger guy so whatever. I do remember the Raven in the parking lot though. He saw some value there, and they are smart birds.

When I eat at In-N-Out, I don’t feel like I’ve been poisoned like I do at a lot of other chain restaurants and that’s definitely a plus. Everything‘s fresh, nothing is ever transported in a frozen state, which means they have to have regional hubs within a 5hr drive of their restaurants.

Tigers playing their RF a lonnnng way toward center againt RHB a lot this spring. High risk/reward when the guy pulls one.

That’s a salient insight thank you.

Plus my bad - I actually meant to type against "LHB". They are playing assuming some lefties are not going to pull much. We got to a couple of ST games last week and they were doing it then - of course at Lakeland I think it also has to do with the wind. The get a lot of very windy days in Lakeland.

Another mic’d player for the sake of people who find baseball boring so you have to do something do “keep them in the game.” This stuff really annoys me. Maybe I’m too easily annoyed, but I don’t like it.
