It’d be really nice if at least 4 or 5 guys in this lineup can get off to decent/good/great starts offensively.  It’s been very deflating to have everyone hitting sub .200 with no power for the first few weeks the last few years

I don’t think either of these teams want this game to go to extra innings. I don’t know if they’d play a 10th inning for the sake of the crowd or not.

They barely look like they want to be playing right now.  I was surprised to see any starters in the lineup today….figured it’d be all minor leaguers

I switched to the radio feed during the interview and when the player Lee was speaking for about 30 seconds, I was hoping that the translator would translate with something like “yes.“

That ESPN televised game with the Dodgers will be a gigantic Dodger love fest.

It’s not indicative of anything in particular, but the Tiger pitchers did strike out 14 Giant batters while Tiger batters K’d only six times themselves.

I like it when the interviewer asks a question of the player and you can tell based on the facial expression of the player that he understands it or even answers it himself.

My daughter lives in West Hollywood and it’s been 75° and sunny there lately. On the day of the game it’s supposed to be high 60s and cloudy but good enough, and certainly better than Detroit. She says that “everything is normal again,“ and if there’s areas you don’t go to that were hit by the fire you’d never know that it ever occurred.
