I originally purchased MLB at bat, but last year I couldn't find it anymore, so I used MLB instead and assumed they had merged. It was always live until today. I just use the MLB app and go to gameday on my phone and it’s always at least a couple pitches or even a batter ahead of what I’m watching or listening to. Quote

I found that it was lagging all the time and I had to keep going into the box score and then going back to gameday and it would update to being ahead of the broadcast of the game by a tad so I had to play around with it to get it to work tonight. I’ve never had that happen before. And it might work differently on my phone if you’re using a laptop or something. Quote

IdahoBert Posted March 28 Posted March 28 It is just one game, but Tork looked good at the plate and that makes me happy. He was collected and patient at the plate and when he got his pitch, he made the most of it. 1 Quote
Tigermojo Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Tork had five walks in May last year and zero home runs in April. He has to be feeling good about his start tonight. 1 Quote

papalawrence Posted March 28 Posted March 28 On mlb.tv the blackout ends after 90 minutes post game. Probably will have a cigar rather than watch the loss. Quote

He's on pace to have 162 home runs!!! Seriously though, I liked the approach at the plate by most. Grinded out enough runs to win most of their games last year. Quote

IdahoBert Posted March 28 Posted March 28 I’ve honestly never seen anybody walk four times in a game and hit a home run. Quote
IdahoBert Posted March 28 Posted March 28 By the way, it’s Flaherty starting for the Tigers tomorrow as predicted. Quote

At this rate Carpenter won't get a hit all year but he'll have 162 RBIs Team RISP 0 - 15. That might challenge the worse RISP "0 for" of 2024. How often do you get so many opportunities in a game. That averages 1 2/3 ABs an inning with a runner in scoring position. Then to not once plate one is statistically unfathomable. If we hit just .133 in those ABs we probably would have won. If we hit .250 it would have been around 9 - 5. This is the exact opposite of what got us to the ALDS last year. Edited March 28 by Arlington Quote
