IdahoBert Posted March 28 Posted March 28 The more the Tigers play “real teams” the more we get free MLB Tv games of the day and the more we get on ESPN and Apple TV. Quote

Last night, the ESPN slurpers already had the Dodgers not only repeating this season but also next year, for a three peat. They also said they will set a modern day record for victories in a season. Just cancel the games and hand the trophy to them. They paid good money for it. Quote
RandyMarsh Posted March 28 Posted March 28 (edited) The Dodgers do have a beast team but they have so for the better part of 15 yrs as well and "only" won 2 championships. Yeah though looking up and down their lineup and rotation and it makes me wonder how many Tigers would even start for them? Skubal of course and probably Greene but that may be it. Hell they may be the only 2 that would even make their 26 man roster as of right now. Edited March 28 by RandyMarsh Quote

And just think - next off season they'll add Kyle Tucker, Bregman and the Japanese player with huge HR power. 1 Quote
RedRamage Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Has anyone else complained that is stinks that the first series of the year is super late at night? Just wanted to get that off my chest because I'm sure no one else has complained yet. 2 Quote

I still say make Ohtani eat a fastball and see how much he digs in. (I'm a very bad sport) Quote

IdahoBert Posted March 28 Posted March 28 This game starts at 8:10 PM for me and for me that’s late so I’m complaining. I love when games start in the eastern time zone so for me that’s around 5 PM. Quote

monkeytargets39 Posted Friday at 11:44 PM Posted Friday at 11:44 PM (edited) At least this time the game is at 10pm EST and we get to watch Ohtani/Freeman/Etc. The 10pm games against the As and Mariners are brutal. Edited Friday at 11:44 PM by monkeytargets39 Quote
IdahoBert Posted Friday at 11:55 PM Posted Friday at 11:55 PM I just checked and we have to wait until the end of August to see the Tigers play the Sacramento Athletics in their minor league home ballpark. I hope Tork hits five home runs in a game. Quote

chasfh Posted Saturday at 12:01 AM Posted Saturday at 12:01 AM I don’t know about you, but I definitely did not have Tork ending Opening Day with an 1193 OPS+ on my bingo card. Quote
lordstanley Posted Saturday at 12:28 AM Posted Saturday at 12:28 AM I like the late start tonight. Gives me a chance to watch the final two flights of the ladies singles free skate at the world figure skating championships in Boston. Go Maddy go! Quote

I get to take in a local minor league hockey game tonight in Virginia. Blue Ridge Bobcats vs. Carolina Thunderbirds. At the end of two, Cats 4, Birds 2. In the beer line just now, I started a conversation with a guy wearing the English D, from Dearborn, and then the lady behind us joined in. She was from Lansing. What are the odds three people in the beer line at a hockey game in rural VA, would all be from Michigan? 2 Quote
monkeytargets39 Posted Saturday at 02:01 AM Posted Saturday at 02:01 AM Watching the Dodgers get their rings is like going to the rich kid in your schools birthday party and seeing him barely act excited about getting all of the stuff you’d be in tears over receiving. 1 Quote
IdahoBert Posted Saturday at 02:08 AM Posted Saturday at 02:08 AM Jason and Dan Petry on the TV. Quote
IdahoBert Posted Saturday at 02:14 AM Posted Saturday at 02:14 AM If you turn on the radio feed for the audio on MLB TV, Dan Dickerson’s call is a few seconds ahead of what’s on the screen. Usually there’s a lag if it’s not perfectly synced up. Quote
