The Dodgers announcer said he had speed when the ball was going to the corner so I figured it would be an easy run. Was absolutely shocked to see the throw arrive and him just running into the screen

margot may be slow, but he's been pretty good at the plate so far.

On the plus side, we’ve played the world champs two hard games in a row.  We are hitting the ball ok, drawing walks and generally pitching well.  Just getting beat by HRs

It happens. We had another player who was once a great young athlete but could hardly put one foot in front of the other without tripping in the OF by the time he was 26.

I wonder if some of bullpen pitching chaos guys can repeat what they did last year…Hinch and Harris should cycle guys in and out if they can’t get high leverage out…with the caveats of small sample size.

The offense showed a pulse. Hopefully we don’t get swept. I’d like to come home with. 2-4 record.

It's going to be hard to repeat the chaos of last year. A lot of those close games went our way. Then again let's wait til we see more normal teams and not these tinsel town clowns.

He was out.  The first tag just barely brushed his thigh before the hand is down.  You can see the ripple in his pant.

We know Joey Cora is going to be overly aggressive.   A few times it will work out but most of the time it won’t.   So it goes.

If he doesn't stumble around 3rd he's safe, not really a case of Cora being over aggressive.

This is a more tolerable out than Torkelson’s TOOTBLAN in the first game.

True.  The problem is it wasn’t enough of a stumble to where he knew he needed to retreat.

Fan interference and faulty feet.  0-2 start, but they’ve not been outclassed by the Dodgers.

Did he stumble getting around third?  I missed that and thought he was a ****ty baserunner who was out by a mile despite a really poor relay throw from the RF.
