I can never watch these games the Tigers play against the Mariners because they are blacked out for me because I’m in their viewing area and I don’t have cable and I’m not willing to give Root sports $19.99 a month without Cable to watch the Tigers play the Mariners six times a year.

The Mariners viewing era area is very huge and includes Washington, Oregon, Montana, Alaska and much of of Idaho except the eastern part of the state that falls within the Rockies viewing area.

What are you, about 750 miles from Seattle?

500 miles. But on Cable it is the team that’s our regional team and I in fact know people who live here who are Mariners fans, may God have mercy on their souls.

I guess if Canada becomes “the 51st state” the entirety of western Canada up to and including Alaska will be in the Mariners viewing area.

That’s a consideration.  But of more immediate interest, when I cross at the Peace Arch tomorrow morning on the way to the game do I still need to show my passport? Or is it like walking from Germany into France now.

I decided to subscribe to the radio feed for $3.99 a month. I love listening to Dan. I’ve been listening to him for over 20 years and he just feels like a member of the family.

I wish the radio and the picture on my screen synced up, i like Dan too. But I have to admit, Jason makes me laugh every game. He even mentioned that the Tigers have had an Emerson, Lake and Palmer play for them. 😅😅

I have an enhanced drivers license. I think that's all Michigan people need to get into Ontario. But last time I went, i also took my passport.

I’m sorry. I don’t know anybody who’s ever thought that Canada was one of our traditional enemies.
