lordstanley Posted April 6 Author Posted April 6 58 minutes ago, buddha said: montreal wins. rangers lose. cbus loses. next two games are must wins if you still want to make the playoffs. The Wings now control their destiny over Columbus, as they are tied in points and games and the Wings have a big lead in the tiebreaker. Almost there against the Rangers, as if the Wings win their game in hand tomorrow they’ll be tied in games and points, although NYR has a big lead in that tiebreaker. Believe it or not, if the Wings win tomorrow and the Habs lose in regulation in Nashville, the Wings will control their destiny over the Habs as well. The Wings would be 4 pts back by tomorrow night, then a regulation win in Montreal on Tuesday would put the Wings 2 back but with a game in hand and the tiebreaker edge. Maybe 1%-3% of making the playoffs? Quote

lordstanley Posted April 7 Author Posted April 7 Good work, Talbot. Still 2-0 Wings with 4 minutes to go. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted April 7 Posted April 7 (edited) I don't understand this team at all. They can go out and beat two of the best teams in the East back to back. But they can also go entire games in a row without a single point after coming back from the 4 Nations. Will the real Detroit Red Wings please stand up. Edited April 7 by Mr.TaterSalad Quote
buddha Posted April 7 Posted April 7 for.****s sake they cant even hit an open net from 10 feet out. Quote
lordstanley Posted April 7 Author Posted April 7 Oh man, that chance at the empty net should have ended the game. What a miss by DeBrincat. Quote

Motor City Sonics Posted April 7 Posted April 7 Holy crap. If Talbot is not the #1 star tonight, then stop doing the 3 stars. Quote
buddha Posted April 7 Posted April 7 talbot saves them. the puck is just sitting there and the wings are all standing around watching. oh wait, tarasenko, compher, and rasmussen on the ice. that explains it. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted April 7 Posted April 7 Everyone ought treat Talbot for dinner at whatever restaurant he wants after the game. Grey Ghost, Selden Standard, The Whitney, Joe Muers. That dude saved their ass again tonight. Quote
