pretty much this. I suppose if JB started fining him it might get his attention, but can a coach even do that kind of thing anymore?

This is so unnecessary.  I can’t imagine another owner in the league putting out a statement after a normal NBA fight.   Yet, this is so on point for Tom Gores. 6 paragraphs of meaningless word salad trying to remind people that he’s still here.

people mature as they get older.  but if he's told that's the role he's supposed to play then he definitely will not.

Sounds weird to say this about the Pistons but it's all about the playoffs now, the rest of these regular season games don't mean much. Get Cade back up and running for the Milwaukee games just so he can shake the rust off and...that's all that matters at this point really.

Good effort to cut it to 4 with a few minutes left. That Duren offensive foul call was definitely a turning point where they could have cut it to a single possession and then the Thunder just took off from there to close it out.

Still, I can't complain about the fight they showed with Cade, Tobias, Stew, Holland, and Sasser out. I can complain about the first quarter defense and Shroder's shooting, but there's no point. We all saw it.

I fully understand it’s that same drive that makes him an effective if undersized big. But Stewart’s got that reputation now and too often crosses the line.

How do they get some of that defensive acumen into Duren’s game?  Just a smidge of basket protection.
