Motor City Sonics Posted April 8 Posted April 8 I think the term disabled was eschewed because it makes it seem like a person with limits don't have the ability to do things when actually many of them do - they just have to do it different or at a different pace. I know a dude in a wheelchair who's in great shape. he can't walk, but I don't know that I would ever call that guy disabled. He can do just about everything. He can drive if he has someone to get his wheelchair out of the back seat. Quote
