Agreed. But falling behind the hitters is driving up his pitch count. He may not be around too long in this game.

We have done a really good job putting pressure on the defense to make the play and we’ve gotten away with that so far. It’s gonna backfire from time to time but a good team that makes good decision, like ours appears to be, should experience a net gain from that.

In the aggregate all these things such as this and swinging on the first pitch (within reason) and taking bases other teams may not attempt really adds up.
