Impossible to take you seriously.

Quit wanting every last thing to be a foul. That’s the problem in the NBA. There is no contact allowed.  There is reason the ratings are tanking.

Some negatives.

Cade was bad.  24 points on 25 shots is ugly.  6 TO's is ugly.

Hardaway had a nice 1st half and disappeared in the 2nd.

Schroder did too but his defense on Brunson was still good in the 2nd.

Harris is just awful.  He didn't show up for any part of the game.

They were awful at the end of the quarters.  Just clean that up and I bet Detroit wins by 10.

Beasley is pretty useless if his 3PT shot isn't falling.

Defense wasn't great

Still, they were inbounding the ball for a shot to win or tie at the end of the game.  Fix just one of the issues I just listed, and they probably win.  That is sort of encouraging, I guess.

We had fun at the game. It was worth the $350 I spent overall.  My son isn’t into baseball like I am and this game has the adrenaline rush. Sure they lost but we had a good time.

Ben Stiller and Timothy Chalamet were sitting underneath us.  Not close mind you. We were in the upper bowl they were in the first row behind the hockey boards.  But people kept stopping for selfies.
that might have been the most energetic game in that buildings history.

I like Duren a lot...I know he has some offensive limitations, but I enjoy watching him run the floor and attack the rim.  Having said that..WTF was with that pass to Cade?  Most jr High kids could make that lob.

Beasley, Cade and Harris were not good (although Harris was a +10) ...NY had big games from Brunson and KAT and the Pistons still almost won.

I was more upset at the coaching staff for putting Duren in that situation.  I understand wanting a taller player inbounding but Harris makes more sense there to me.  Not a huge deal because you are rarely going to score in that situation.

I think Duren was 7/7 from the field in the 2nd half.  That is exactly what he needs to do to offset his defense.

That last pass was very meaningless. Half a second? No chance, even if it were caught. Maybe with 3 seconds but even then, nearly impossible. I think back on all the 3 point shots missed. Take 2 on a few of them and it's a victory.

Cade just has to be better late in games.  If you are the star and turning it over 5 times per game, you have to make the clutch plays to go with it.

Cade is a very good player, star player even, but it's hard to elevate him to superstar status until he starts to take over in big games. He's kind of shrunk in the big moments in this playoff series and the Knicks have owned the 4th quarters as a result. He can't be passive with this team, he needs to be THE guy when they need him and he hasn't done that in this series.

Also, Beasley has been terrible. For anybody who was previously worried about losing him because he'd cost too much. Well, worry no more.

A few  things:

After two good games, Harris had a rough one. Foul trouble didn’t help, but he just wasn’t on. However, he was a +10 in this game, not because he was playing great or even good, simply because without him we don’t have another PF on the roster. Size matters. Which brings me to my next point…

JB needs to stop with this midget, no-defense lineup. I understand Tobias was in foul trouble for a time, but you can’t roll out Schroeder, Beasley, THJ, and Cade against the Knicks double big lineup. This team has won all year on its defense creating offense, not the other way around. Play Ausar at PF when Tobias is out, but get him more minutes. Maybe use Ron more. No wonder the Knicks won the blocks/steals stat, we were playing the no defense lineup a ton in the second half on a night where you couldn’t stop them from scoring. You have to turn them over and create easy offense.

People are saying that Cade needs to step up, but this is how it goes when you only have one star. I saw a lot of doubles and he made the right play to pass out of it. Role players simply didn’t hit shots (especially in the second half when THJ went cold) and they don’t have a KAT to go to. What other top 6 team in either conference only has one All Star? They’ve over-performed their talent level and still have a chance, but we can’t expect Cade to be prime MJ in his first playoff series at age 23 with no help on the team and only getting 2 free throws from these refs. They finally got something going in the third passing it to Duren after the double team with Ausar diving in from the dunker spot. But then Duren picked up fouls guarding KAT and we saw no Ausar in the 4th which is mind boggling.

Finally, Beasley needs to come out of his slump for this team to have any chance. THJ will disappear again next game and Schroeder will come back down to earth. Maybe Tobias plays better, but this is what role players are - inconsistent. That’s why they’re role players and not stars.
