what do you think the state of the Tigers would be on April 16 if I told you they would be 3-5 in Skubal/Flaherty starts.

I am there today, and lucky me, it’s a getaway game with a Keider Montero start! That probably means Nido at catcher, Kreidler in center, and Riley, Carpenter, and Keith sitting against the hook. Should be seeing Tork at first, though. We might have a Javy-at-short sighting, too, with Ibanez at third.

With any luck, the game will be close enough to see some high-leverage pinch-hitting late.

I believe he started a throwing program about a week ago. I don't know that there have been any updates since.

I saw in the paper that Montero's last minor league start was a dominant performance. Hinch even mentioned using him with a 6 man rotation. No pressure, Keider, just shut them out please. 😁

Well, on the positive side in that AB Riley didn’t strike out and he swung at the first pitch because it was in the strike zone and something he could’ve pulled, unfortunately he grounded out but I’m saying this because I’m a glass half full guy and hopeful.

I really liked that park. We went to an area bar beforehand and took a shuttle in to avoid parking. Felt a lot like going to Nemo's.
