RandyMarsh Posted Thursday at 03:13 PM Posted Thursday at 03:13 PM Olson is not the guy I would like to be on the mound to stop this mini skid. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted Thursday at 04:08 PM Posted Thursday at 04:08 PM I would say that KC is our biggest rival for the division. Cleveland is good but KC scares me more. Bobby Witt Jr. is the real deal. Quote

IdahoBert Posted Thursday at 06:40 PM Posted Thursday at 06:40 PM I’m mostly worried about Riley, but I think he will self correct. I remember during the reign of Dave Dombrowski how we had a plethora of great hitters in the lineup and they would all go inexplicably blank for several games in a row. This stuff just happens and the scales will swing the other way before long. Quote
Klondike Posted Thursday at 06:57 PM Posted Thursday at 06:57 PM That's why it's important to have no weak spots in the line-up. There will be one or two hitters slumping all the time. 1 1 Quote
IdahoBert Posted Thursday at 09:13 PM Posted Thursday at 09:13 PM So since they’ve only scored one run in the last 22 innings have they “saved up some runs” over the last 22 innings in their metaphysical bank of runs which they often squander in high scoring games? Or if you want to get more scientific about it, could they “return to the mean” of scoring a sensible number of runs and hopefully allow fewer than they score? Quote

monkeytargets39 Posted Thursday at 10:53 PM Posted Thursday at 10:53 PM Remember when everyone inexplicably threw high fastballs to Carpenter even though he was destroying them every time? Now that has all shifted to pitches low and in. Quote
monkeytargets39 Posted Thursday at 10:59 PM Posted Thursday at 10:59 PM Does the Rally House commercial song annoy anyone else? specifically when they rhyme ‘house’ with ‘house’ Quote
romad1 Posted Thursday at 11:03 PM Posted Thursday at 11:03 PM Riley Greene's slump is the weirdest and most unexpected thing. Quote
