Motor City Sonics Posted April 21 Posted April 21 So, now that Kerry Carpenter is could be done for his career, what happens? Do a bunch of Tiger scouts gather and stay completely sequestered from the outside world and have a series of votes as to who to acquire or call up? Does Blue Smoke mean they have a new Outfielder or is that the Orange Smoke? Quote
monkeytargets39 Posted April 21 Posted April 21 I wouldn’t have minded Kriedler if he was just a late inning defensive replacement, but with how Hinch manages this roster he was simply playing too much for his lack of offense. Quote

Sports_Freak Posted April 21 Posted April 21 They're gonna check Zach's urine if he keeps this up. Quote
chasfh Posted April 21 Posted April 21 MVPKinstry! That looked to me like it should be a double and an error, but what the hell, triple it is! Quote
RandyMarsh Posted April 21 Posted April 21 Montero just can't get swings and misses in the zone and can't entice guys to chase. Recipe for disaster. Quote

chasfh Posted April 21 Posted April 21 I lost the Tigers feed on my laptop so I switched to the Padres feed to restart it. I'm tuned in to the radio feed and the analyst is talking and I'm like, "Is that Tony Gwynn Jr? Because that sounds just like Tony Gwynn Sr." And guess what? It is. Quote

Yes, Jr sounds exactly like Sr. 1 Quote

chasfh Posted April 21 Posted April 21 A tale as old as time: center fielder makes a nice easy play to end the inning, he's the first one up to the plate, and he gets plunked. Quote

I'd have to see it again because it didn't strike me that way at the time. But for a guy who's not a CF by trade, he's quite acceptable so far. Quote
