So, now that Kerry Carpenter is could be done for his career,  what happens?  Do a bunch of Tiger scouts gather and stay completely sequestered from the outside world and have a series of votes as to who to acquire or call up?   Does Blue Smoke mean they have a new Outfielder or is that the Orange Smoke?

I lost the Tigers feed on my laptop so I switched to the Padres feed to restart it. I'm tuned in to the radio feed and the analyst is talking and I'm like, "Is that Tony Gwynn Jr? Because that sounds just like Tony Gwynn Sr." And guess what? It is.

Yes, Jr sounds exactly like Sr.

Javy looks mighty comfortable in center.

That route he took looked natural.  Nobody wants to hear this, but maybe it’s a good thing he’s still around right now.

A tale as old as time: center fielder makes a nice easy play to end the inning, he's the first one up to the plate, and he gets plunked.

And then he eventually comes around to score?

He did there but I thought a regular CF would've gotten to that lazy fly ball that dropped in front of him in the 1st.

I'd have to see it again because it didn't strike me that way at the time. But for a guy who's not a CF by trade, he's quite acceptable so far.
