I'm tuned in to the radio feed and the analyst is talking and I'm like, "Is that Tony Gwynn Jr? Because that sounds just like Tony Gwynn Sr." And guess what? It is. I really miss Gwynn Sr. One of my favorite players ever. 1 Quote

chasfh Posted April 21 Posted April 21 I really do like the cleaner, gambling-odds-free look of the Padres telecast. 2 Quote
monkeytargets39 Posted April 21 Posted April 21 I love bark at the park….. However, sitting at home watching the game on tv at home is driving my dogs insane. They hear barking in the background on tv, don’t know where it’s coming from, and are zooming all over the house and in the back yard trying to figure out what’s going on. Quote
chasfh Posted April 21 Posted April 21 Neato "rumbles around" third to score on that Riley knock! Quote

monkeytargets39 Posted April 21 Posted April 21 If Montero can settle and get a couple quick innings here, he may save us from burning the pen at the start of the series and not having to use Maeda…. Quote
chasfh Posted April 21 Posted April 21 I am back on the Tigers feed and can I just tell you how absolutely pleased I am that I get to listen to Dan Dickerson break down Vásquez's outing and not whatever it is that's being said here? Quote
chasfh Posted April 21 Posted April 21 Gillaspie is at the very front of the bullpen with the worst numbers in only four innings of work. This is really a good opportunity to pour it on. Nice read on the fly ball to RF by Colt to get to third on the tag. Quote
chasfh Posted April 21 Posted April 21 There was nothing Colt could do there. He's leading off third and the ball was hit to Machado. He couldn't have been expected to go back to the bag. The only thing I wish he would have done differently is slide way to the left of the plate and slap it with his right hand going by to avoid the easy tag out. Quote
