The Tigers are getting national attention.  On ESPN today they speculated how the Tigers good start might affect the Dallas Cowboys draft.

The guy on the radio giving us the final round up information just said that the games against the Orioles are going to be in Baltimore and that’s simply not true. He was saying the Tigers would be “on the road.” Then he ended the broadcast saying once again the Tigers would be on the road. This Daniella syndrome in announcers is troubling.

The Tigers now have the same record as the Yankees 15–10 and the Yankees run differential is only one run better than the Tigers at +31 compared to +30. But our defence has been much better. In 25 games, the Tigers have allowed only 82 runs while the Yankees have allowed 106 in the same number of games.

I just watched Javy’s catch in center and it’s epic! I hope he’s not so pumped up that he swings at balls 2-feet out of the strike zone on Friday.
