Main difference is Manning's wasn't arm related, so he's been able to keep his upper body in decent shape. Skubal, on the other hand, with a Flexor Strain, requires a lot more care, because if you rush back too quickly from that, you run the risk of Tommy John. You really want to make sure that thing is healed. There was an episode of Effectively Wild about a month ago that talked about flexor strains with some soundbites from Glenn Flesig (James Andrews' protégée) that I would recommend digging up. It is concerning, but he wasn't moved to the 7-Day so may just be a small thing. Also that Dingler bomb was straight away center no doubter.
