that's not saying much.

an oft injured backup catcher as the main return for the best pitcher of this generation.

Al Avila strikes again.

I disagree on the backup catcher thing.  He is a legit starter, top third in MLB, with 25 home run power.  He's a good player.

bonkers offense at every level, and a lot from the "real" prospects

more on Justice Bigbie: except for one Freep article, cannot find anything on line about him. The parallels with Carpenter are glaring, though Bigbie is RH and his surge is more hit based, not power. Pretty great year obviously. Erie is going to playoffs, but he might force his way to Toledo if he keep going like this

Rogers is a very good defensive C with some power...he has a lot of value in today's game.  I was half expecting him to get traded.  Perez got hurt, Daz never panned out.  In retrospect it was a horrible trade....at the time, I think most people thought Al Al did OK.

Justice Bigbie’s going to lap him soon.

IIRC, one of the reason they were never high on Paredes is that they though he'd never hit of any power. Bigbie's HR rate has picked up this season, granted he is a couple years older than when Isaac's power finally began to emerge.

They said the same of Granderson, too.
