RandyMarsh
Jobe starting in the regular season finale for the Seawolves on Sunday. Don't know how the AA playoffs work but Erie is in them so he may pitch there as well. Either way I wouldn't be shocked if he pitched in AFL this year since he hasn't thrown that many innings.

What's the prevailing opinion of the group? Question answered 😎 Hopefully at least 2 starts at Erie coming up, regular season and playoffs. Looking forward to seeing the K/BB #'s continue 😀

Or in other words his defense may not translate to the MLB level but is more than fine for High A.

Some hitters may still improve up to their middle 20's, I suspect on average your ceiling as a fielder hardens sooner than that, but I don't know of any real data/research about it. RatkoVarda
JJ has 3 errors in 134 career games; he's 22; 23 in Oct; so possible he will get at least a brief look in the majors at
RandyMarsh
It sucks that we already have a statue at first cause if Jung is reliable with balls that are hit in his range but just doesnt have the ability to get to balls out of his immediate vicinity than a better 1B may beable to cover for some of those issues but with Tork that obviously wouldn't be the case. I wouldn't use errors as a judge of minor league defense at all. 1
Shinzaki
So maybe he's Jeff Kent...not a great fielder, but a good hitter

The difference between MLB and MILB fielding looks as big as the difference between MLB and MILB hitting.

Topliner1903
Three home runs for Kreidler tonight, and six RBIs. Keith also had a home run.

casimir
Going to Mud Hens’ home closer today. I’ll have 2023 Opening Day and 2023 (home) Closing Day on the resume. I’ve never book ended a season like that. Still doesn’t seem like it should be September, but here we are.
