I wonder if his new deal had an opt out. I’d think so, otherwise why not try and trade him for something at least? Quote

RH utility IFs who cannot play short have a painfully narrow path to the majors - even when they hit well, which he only did for a 6 week blip in 2023 Quote

Edman85 Posted Friday at 06:58 PM Posted Friday at 06:58 PM I noticed Guenther and Manning are not on the released Toledo roster. A few others who would procedurally need to be on their IL (like Baddoo, Vanasco, and Flores as well). I'm guessing they did not announce the players on the 15-Day IL, which leads me to believe Guenther and Manning are either injured or on the development list getting some work done in Lakeland. Quote
RatkoVarda Posted Monday at 05:51 PM Posted Monday at 05:51 PM so Toledo is playing at Round Rock of the PCL this week? do we really need interleague games at AAA? I thought the point of one week minor league stays was to cut travel time and costs? Can't hurt, but don't see the need for this. Quote

This is also the fifth year of the current alignment, and Toledo has yet to visit leaguemate Jacksonville in that time. Quote
RatkoVarda Posted Monday at 06:40 PM Posted Monday at 06:40 PM Bigbee back to Erie in favor of lots of AAAA talent that Harris is stashing to Toledo. Not a big deal, and maybe he get lots of at bats at Erie, but I'm sure he would prefer Toledo Quote

Edman85 Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago (edited) I noticed Montero was scratched yesterday for a bullpen day. Makes me think they are keeping him fresh in case he is needed for a Saturday doubleheader. Edited 16 hours ago by Edman85 Quote

But hopefully both he and McGonigle have short stays. Quote

I bought tickets to a game last fall…..only for McGonigle to be out injured and Clark given the day off…. got to see Travis Bazzana though Quote
