I gave up on Manning a couple seasons ago atleast as a starter, best case scenario for him is he carves out a career as a multi inning reliever but I'm skeptical of even that from him.

Just way too inconsistent for me to want to trust him in any type of high leverage role.

I suspect Manning was just piggybacking because he was rained out Wednesday and they wanted to keep him and Montero on schedule.

News ($) has article with Max Clark gushing about talent around him. He and McGonigle knew each other from all-star circuit before they were drafted.

key with Manning is always a >95 fastball. When he throws hard all his other stuff works better. They want him to throw that hard as a starter but they've been dinking around for 3 yrs and it's not happening, If he'll throw hard as reliever just move him there.

😅 I am chasing around an 18-month-old now, but honestly, the beginning of April is just a busy time at work. I usually do updates at the beginning of my workday, but overseas calls are getting in the way. I should be back with your tiger cub updates here shortly.
