Tenacious D
I view Manning like I do Meadows--not counting on much/anything this season. Any positive contributions will be a pleasant surprise.

LongLiveMaroth
I was doing some quick research because I was curious on how Santana has been since his injury back in May. He came back on 6/9 and he has a slash of .280/.426/.400. The 26% K rate is not ideal obviously and a .408 BABIP is probably keeping him up a bit but a wRC+ of 148 sure is nice especially for a 18 year old in Low-A. The fact that it's .337 with a .400 BA suggests he'd be doing just fine with a normal BABIP lol

The length of the extension was very questionable, but it has ultimately worked out. He’s not blocking anyone and has given the fans some very memorable moments and distraction from the on-field product the last two seasons. Personally, I’m glad he’s retiring a Tiger—would not have wanted to see him elsewhere.
