Carpenter is in his 3rd week at Toledo; SSS and ridiculous BABIP, but Ks have plummeted, but just 1 HR

trade him now before the babip comes back to earth.

I was doing some quick research because I was curious on how Santana has been since his injury back in May. He came back on 6/9 and he has a slash of .280/.426/.400. The 26% K rate is not ideal obviously and a .408 BABIP is probably keeping him up a bit but a wRC+ of 148 sure is nice especially for a 18 year old in Low-A.

Well, if you're going to hit .400, you're going to have a high babip.

The fact that it's .337 with a .400 BA suggests he'd be doing just fine with a normal BABIP lol

Do you think we could offer everyone except Flores, Madden and Pacheco on our Top 30 plus anyone on the MLB roster except Greene for Juan Soto we get anywhere close???? 😁😂

I would hate to invest so much in one player *cough* (Miguel Cabrera) *cough*

That was a good trade and great initial contract.  The length of the extension was very questionable, but it has ultimately worked out.  He’s not blocking anyone and has given the fans some very memorable moments and distraction from the on-field product the last two seasons.  Personally, I’m glad he’s retiring a Tiger—would not have wanted to see him elsewhere.
