Philly made everyone look good last night. Yeah but on the season as a whole he is... Not a -25 like Leddy Is a net positive +2 on the +/- (only Staal is better at +9, everyone else is worse). Not earth shattering... but like Sloth is saying (I'll summarize): there's just enough improvement there to notice...

They both play the right side so I can't imagine they have. It is kind of funny how it used to be that the Wings couldn't buy a decent right handed shot on the free agent market under Babcock now all of their actual longer term pieces (Seider, Hronek, Lindstrom) are all right handed and the lefties are on their way out (DeKeyser, Staal, Oesterle). So if we think Hronek can figure it out I think the Wings have the makings of a solid right side on the defense corps. Luckily Edvinsson and Wallinder both shoot left handed 🤠

Luckily Edvinsson and Wallinder both shoot left handed 🤠 it's was an odd symmetry that the Ilitchs ended up with Kenny Holland and Dave Dombrowski, who were both so dismissive the right/left balance of their teams in the two sports where it makes such a big difference. The lack of right side shots alone had to have been a big piece of the years of RW power play ineptitude.
