MichiganCardinal Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 Hurts just coughed up the ball and New England is in a position to come back from 16 down. Quote
Jason_R Posted September 11, 2023 Posted September 11, 2023 Look it’s Stat Padford making a star out of another WR. Quote

Interesting. jalen hurts does not look good. he doesnt run anymore, and when he does he slides quickly and runs at half speed. if he's not going to run that offense isnt that special. otoh, the pats almost ALWAYS have a good defense under belichick and they looked damn good today. the playcalling down the stretch for the pats was really really questionable, but they outplayed the eagles after a disastrous first quarter. niners and cowboys look real good. lol at the viqueens and seahawks. Agreed on all accounts. It's still early, so lots of time for teams to figure stuff out. But I'd rather be the Lions than the Bears or Vikings today, that's for sure. Quote
buddha Posted September 11, 2023 Posted September 11, 2023 the vikings losing a one score game and the giants getting absolutely smoked is total karma revenge for their complete lucky ass seasons last year. 1 Quote

While I'm happy the Giants got smoked, I'm less thrilled with how good the 'Boy looked. Quote

Also, Stat Padford put a second unheralded receiver over 100 yards yesterday. All Stat Padford does, beyond winning a Super Bowl, is make stars out of wide receivers and get them paid. Quote

A 177 pick doing it is a nice accomplishment. I'm not trying to down play that. What I think is silly is the "hasn't been done since 2021." That was only two years ago. Quote

Sports_Freak Posted September 12, 2023 Posted September 12, 2023 I didn't want Rodgers to have any success but I didn't want to see him get hurt. Hopefully, he'll come back and suck. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted September 12, 2023 Posted September 12, 2023 Aaron Rodgers out already and the Jets look like a dysfunctional mess early on. Quote
Tigeraholic1 Posted September 12, 2023 Posted September 12, 2023 It is strange that the o-line collapsed immedialty for Rogers but holding a nice pocket for Wilson. Quote

I mean, the Giants managed to not kill their 40-year-old quarterback before he could complete a pass, so there is that. Quote
