I’ll side on safety, move the game back a day, that’s fine. I don’t recall playoff games from 20 or 30some years ago being postponed due to weather. Maybe I’m wrong, I don’t know. Granted, there are more playoff games these days than back then. No opinion on it, just an observation. cincy and san diego was -60 wind chill. might have kept the pass happy chargers out of the super bowl that year. Quote

Or maybe he’s simply taken too many shots to the head to consider those folks. But among those folks have to be Bills leadership who are currently in plans to continue with an outdoor stadium. Quote

I’m going to guess the game is postponed because of the travel conditions rather than if the stadium has a lid or not. I’m going to guess a lot of indoor destinations in and around Buffalo are going to be closed because folks aren’t going to be able to get to them. Quote

Power went out just before the game started and it literally came back on when they flashed the final score. I wanted the Chargers to win so badly. They were fun to watch and they had star players who probably had really good children that would never do anything wrong. Chargers went from winning in OT in warm, humid Miami to that game in a week. Now Buffalo postpones a game because of Wind Chills of -30 ...............we've gone soft. That Dolphins-Chargers game was the best game I've ever watched. Quote

RandyMarsh Posted January 14, 2024 Posted January 14, 2024 Looks like the clock struck Midnight for Flacco as he throws back to back pick 6s as the Texans continue to pour it on. Quote

RandyMarsh Posted January 14, 2024 Posted January 14, 2024 (edited) Crazy to think that the Texans are now just 2 wins a way from the Super Bowl after where they were at like 9 months ago. Landing Will Anderson and most importantly CJ Stroud in the 1st round was a complete franchise altering day for them. Oh and of course how could I forget hiring Ryans and his staff. Amazing how quickly things can change when you bring in a great coaching staff and knock your draft out of the park. Edited January 14, 2024 by RandyMarsh Quote

In my day we'd watch games with at wind chill of -59 and we'd walk uphill to get there, both ways, with no coats ! If course uphill was walking up my driveway to get in my house where I watched the game on TV with no coat on. BUT WE CAN'T DO THAT NOW, CAN WE? 1 Quote

I know it's 45-17 but there's 7 minutes left and this is the Browns we're talking about. You never count 'em out ! Quote
Shinzaki Posted January 14, 2024 Posted January 14, 2024 Maybe building an open air stadium in a snow belt wasn't the best idea...but people didn't think about those things in the 70's...it was all about pet rocks, cocaine, casual sex and mood rings Quote

RandyMarsh Posted January 14, 2024 Posted January 14, 2024 Not necessarily commenting on it cause of this game cause I'm sure the weather is playing its part but in general its funny/impressive how the Chiefs defense has now become the strength of the team. Most metrics have it as a top 5 or even 3 defense and it does pass the eye test, where as the offense has been hit or miss most of the season. Quote
