Thanks for the info/clarification. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted March 25, 2022 Posted March 25, 2022 I hadn't realized that terrible human being and former Detroit Lions Ministry of Propaganda Bill Keenist was hosting a radio show about football now on WJR. Keenist is probably one of the last people on Earth, sans Matt Millen, that should be hosting a football show like this. I'm going to call in one weekend, assuming they take calls, and bitch to Keenist about his takes and ask him to change them. Just like he tried to do when he wanted radio hosts like Valenti, Regnar, Henson, to either change their views or be fired. Quote
CMRivdogs Posted March 25, 2022 Posted March 25, 2022 WJR is probably the best place for him. Their listenership is in the 80 plus age bracket.. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted March 28, 2022 Posted March 28, 2022 I was really disappointed to see all USFL games will be played out of one stadium in Birmingham, AL. I was hoping to go to the Panthers home opener, but sadly there won't be one this year. Quote

RandyMarsh Posted March 31, 2022 Posted March 31, 2022 Bobby Wagner to the Rams 5/50(no word on the guarantees), yeah just give us that 2023 32nd pick now and be done with it. Quote

The Fords own Fords Field and you can put them in a 60,000 seat venue even if they did allow it, that would be embarrassing to see 6,000 people in a place that big. . The old Tiger Stadium spot would need a huge increase in seating, but that is a candidate The field where DCFC plays is a candidate but soccer fans will throw a fit. Seems like Wayne State's football field, with some added seating would be a good candidate, and really, they are the MICHIGAN Panthers, so maybe they could play around the state, a game in Lansing, Grand Rapids, Detroit, Ypsi, Traverse City...........that might get expensive, though. Motor City Sonics Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 How the fuck is Daniel Snyder still allowed to own an NFL team? Force him out like the NBA forced out Sterling. Scandal after Scandal after Scandal, and a stadium that is literally falling apart (it's only 25 years old). Come on, man, get this bastard out. Hell, he'll make a fortune, as even the worst NFL team is worth a billion. He could sell it for 2 billion (more than double what he paid). Come on, get him out. Long overdue. He makes Irsay look like a Boy Scout. This sums up what has happened to Washington football fans in the Snyder era. Quote
CMRivdogs Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 He's trying to fleece Virginia for a new stadium complex. The Gov had proposed $1 Billion in tax free bonds, the Gen Assembly has cut it to $350 Mil. The guy wants public money to fund stadium, hotel and shopping complex. This after the city of Richmond spent big $$$ to upgrade practice facilities to something the team may use once a year... Quote

RFK stadium has been vacant for what, a decade, and it would be better than their current pile of junk they have. There are many slimeball owners in the NFL and he's the slimiest. Quote
CMRivdogs Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 The new stadium opened in 1997. RFK is supposed to be demolished this year. It's been empty since 2017. Quote

Motor City Sonics Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 Gil Brandt's comments were just about as tone deaf as anything I've ever heard. Seriously, the dude died tragically at 24 a few hours ago and your taking shots at him? Time to set Gil Brandt adrift, he's 90 anyway. Just wow. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 Really sad, awful news about Haskins. Thoughts go out to those who were the closest to him. Quote

MichiganCardinal Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 Quite the gamble they’re taking on arguably the worst QB in their division. Quote
RandyMarsh Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 Rams are reportedly in close contact with Stephen Gilmore, I swear they are exhibit A in terms of proving the NFL Cap is meaningless. Quote
