Motor City Sonics Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Another black coach fired after only 1 year - coaching a team everyone knew had the worst roster. There is a real problem here, man. Steve Wilks made the Panthers competitive after they gave up and traded their best player and he'll likely get the ax. Not cool . Quote

Not cool . he wasnt fired because he was black. interim head coaches rarely do well if hired, even if theyre white! Quote
buddha Posted January 10, 2023 Posted January 10, 2023 gabriel is being dragged for that post all over the internet. a guy who used to have credibility has turned into a bears shill. combine that with his defensive attitude and know it all bullshit and you get a guy who blew all his credibility to stan for justin fields. speaking of fields, the smart play for the bears would be to trade him and start over. he's going into year 3 and will be very expensive very soon and still cant be a qb. great rb who hasnt really improved as a passer. but its the bears. they'll double down on fields. Hongbit Posted January 10, 2023 Posted January 10, 2023 Justin Fields is a fantasy football superstar. Quote

Even Dombrowski couldn’t trade Fields. Quote

I heard yesterday that the Brass were so pissed that he went for two to beat the Colts. XP ties the game and Houston still keeps first overall pick.... Quote

Chicago at #1 is not going to draft a QB and even if they trade that #1 pick to a team that needs one there are 3 or 4 top QBs out there). Plus, if it ever comes out officially that they sacked him for WINNING a game, I would imagine there will be punishment. I hope that happens. I hope they lose a draft pick over it. Take that #2 pick away from them. You can ask guys to knock their heads in for 3 hours and then not TRY to win when you have the chance. If you can't draft a future star at #2 then.......oh wait........it's the Texans, never mind. That team is a fucking disaster all the way around. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted January 14, 2023 Posted January 14, 2023 (edited) At this point, why would the Ravens even want Lamar Jackson back (at the ridiculous price he'll cost as a franchise tag or free agent). They might be better off going after Trey Lance, since the Niners QB room is going to be Tom Brady-Brock Purdy next year. Derek Carr might work in Bal'more too. Motor City Sonics Posted January 14, 2023 Posted January 14, 2023 Wow, Mike Williams has a fractured back - suffered in a game that he didn't have to play in (Chargers were locked in at #5). If Jax beats the Chargers tomorrow...........Staley's fired. Quote

Motown Bombers Posted January 14, 2023 Posted January 14, 2023 There had been talk about Staley's job before this injury. With Payton sitting out there, the Chargers are such a good fit for Payton. I would not be surprised to see Staley fired. Quote

Dude, it was about as stupid a move as you'll ever see. He was already in trouble. If he hadn't been on shaky ground, then no, no firing, but he was already wobbly, and as the Bomber says, Sean Payton is out there. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted January 14, 2023 Posted January 14, 2023 The scam artist who spun a 35-40 record at Texas Tech into a 28-37-1 record in the NFL is taking his talents to the international scale. Quote

sagnam Posted January 15, 2023 Posted January 15, 2023 Seattle showing their quality. Love that the NFL helped a team get in that needed help from the refs to barely beat the Rams. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted January 15, 2023 Posted January 15, 2023 Brock Purdy looks like he just led his team to a middle school championship as a 6th grader playing up. Quote
RandyMarsh Posted January 15, 2023 Posted January 15, 2023 lol first play of the game and Lawrence gets the ball batted at the line for an INT. I swear literally seconds before when they were going through the intros and they listed Lawrence at 6'6 I thought to myself(Wow didn't realize he was that tall, probably doesnt get many balls batted down) So crazy. Quote
RandyMarsh Posted January 15, 2023 Posted January 15, 2023 Jaguars three possessions three Lawrence INTs. Down 10-0 with SD in a goal to go situation, not an ideal start to say the least. Quote
RandyMarsh Posted January 15, 2023 Posted January 15, 2023 lol Lawrence with a 4INT(3rd by Asanta Sameuel) and the Jags down 24-0 only midway through the 2nd! Quote
Kamakzie Posted January 15, 2023 Posted January 15, 2023 And here I thought Jacksonville was going to do well today LOL Quote
