Jags trying to claw back into this one, down 27-14 now. That last TD drive was a good one but when down 3 scores in the 2nd half you'd prefer it not to take over  7 minutes. Still a stop away from really being back in this one.

Considering they were kicking from the 50 cause of the penalty I may have tried the onside there if I were the Jags, even if you didn't get it the Chargers likely would've only been at their 38 yard line, instead they kick it away and end up at their 25 so only a 13 yard difference.

Welp, if Harbaugh wants to go to the Chargers that job should be open. What a collapse by the Chargers having blown a 27 point lead against the Jaguars. I think Staley is probably out of a job after this.

That Chargers job seems to have Sean Payton written all over it.

Harbaugh has the California ties, but Payton would be a great choice as well. He'd fit right in with a great young QB like Herbert and guys like Eckler and Williams around him.

What was really amazing about that comeback is that the Jags did it without forcing a single TO or doing something crazy like converting an onside kick. The defense just shutdown the opposition and they drove down the field every time.

Gotta give credit to Lawrence for bouncing back after that terrible start but also to the Jags defense, not only for what they did in the 2nd half but how they didn't let things get even worse in the 1st half.  The offense turned the ball over 5 an times giving the Chargers great field position each time and another short punt that gave LA the ball near FG range so theoretically they could've given up 42 points there but instead they held them to 17 on those possessions. Major difference.

Jags complete the comeback on a last second FG! Unbelievable collapse by SD and comeback by the Jags!

remember the raiders game at the end of last year too.  another bad coaching job at the end of the game.

not sure why he wasted a timeout/challenge on that catch.  not sure why they decided not to run the ball with a huge lead in the second half.

and - in true chargers fashion - the kicker who had only missed once all year missed a makeable kick that could have put them up 13 in the 4th.

Why?  Because Staley is a really shitty coach.      That Chargers team has Super Bowl talent on it and they've never come close.
