Motown Bombers Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Why in the world do you throw a pass about 4 yards short of 1st down? Quote

Mr.TaterSalad Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 (edited) As happy as I've been with Dan Campbell at season's end, is Brian Daboll the Coach of the Year? Seems he should be now. Edited January 16, 2023 by Mr.TaterSalad Quote

Motor City Sonics Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Just put flags on the front and back of the torso and the hips. Might lead to QBs getting hit in the balls, but if you want to make an omrlette............ Quote
Motown Bombers Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 I still can't get over Cousins throwing a check down 4 yards short on 4th down with the season on the line. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Just now, Motown Bombers said: I still can't get over Cousins throwing a check down 4 yards short on 4th down with the season on the line. The guy proves he just can't get it done under the lights. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Why is Hockenson even running a check down? It's 4th down. Your season is on the line. Every player needs to be running a route that's a 1st down. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 I want the Lions host a playoff game so bad. Quote

Motown Bombers Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Kind of surprised no one ever mentions Pete Carroll. There are really a lot of good candidates. Quote

Though it is easier to surprise people when there are no expectations and the "underdog" dynamic could change.........I don't think Campbell will let it. Team's got a big chip on it's shoulder..........they know had badly we all want this. We don't know what offseason moves will be made by us and the other teams, but this turnaround does feel different because they find ways, even when they shouldn't win, they find ways. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Wait, Lamar Jackson didn't even travel to Cincinnati? Ravens need to just let that headache walk. What a Prima Donna. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Brandon Staley doesn't run the ball with a 4-score lead and half the game to play Mike McDaniel didn't know that the 4th and One Foot was a 4th Down. He thought it was a first down and did not have a play ready. WHAT? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? 2 teams that got to the playoffs in spire of their Head Coaches. I know there were rumors about both of them being on the hot seat even before the playoff games. I can't think of a reason to keep either guy. Those blunders and unforgivable.........your team plays their butts off you brain fart on the big state..............We'll see you later. It's not just the bad games but Staley stupidly playing starters in a totally meaningless game and McDaniels' complete mishandling of Tua's head injuries........... Dumb Dumb Dumb Dumb Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 (edited) Under a minute left and Baltimore is huddling up and wasting time off the clock. Then they call a running play after that with 29 seconds left. That's poor clock management and play calling by Harbaugh and co. Edited January 16, 2023 by Mr.TaterSalad Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Today was a great day of football with some really fun games to watch. There were close, tight games with an upset mixed in. Fun day to be a football fan Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 So, let me get this straight..........Jamaal Williams gets fined more for a touchdown dance than Quay Walker did for shoving a trainer? Look, he wasn't shoving hard enough to knock him down or hurt him, nor was that his intent, but I still think it looks far worse than a damn touchdown dance. Quote
CMRivdogs Posted January 17, 2023 Posted January 17, 2023 Brett Maher has now missed 4 extra point kicks in a row. 0-3 tonight, a new record. Quote

Motor City Sonics Posted January 17, 2023 Posted January 17, 2023 Teams with a losing record shouldn't make the playoffs. That's being proven tonight. Quote
Hongbit Posted January 17, 2023 Posted January 17, 2023 (edited) It was agreed upon that due to the cancellation of the Week 17 Bills/Bengals game, an AFC championship game featuring the two would be played at a neutral site. So what is the logic of now allowing Buffalo to the host this game since it’s in the divisional round. I don’t get it. Edited January 17, 2023 by Hongbit Quote
RandyMarsh Posted January 17, 2023 Posted January 17, 2023 Sounds like Staley is keeping his job in LA since it was announced they fired Lombardi but nothing about him. It makes me wonder if that was the job Harbaugh was holding out for but once he caught wind that Staley would be safe he suddenly decided to finally commit to Michigan? Quote

I think it’s more likely that Santa Ono said the particular things Harbaugh wanted to hear on that particular day in that particular meeting. I do think that Harbaugh could have gotten an NFL job this cycle. I don’t think he would have had his choice of jobs. Quote
