The constructor standings.  Merc is 4th and out of it.  Not mathematically, but they are out of it.

Red Bull Is essentially out too.  They only have one driver capable of points.   
 

Amazing season from Max to fight through a crazy second half.  Still not exactly sure how RB fell off so much.

I had a good laugh at Charles on his radio.

He was livid that Carlos passed him.  He was told the team instructed Carlos no to put pressure on Leclerc.  Carlos obviously ended up passing him later on.  When he did Charles over the radio: "Maybe tell him in Spanish"

I don't know why but that cracked me up.

7 drivers have multiple GP wins this year.  Reddit said that is the first time that has ever happened.

Perez went out in Q1 for sprint qualifying today.  How they brought him back and not Carlos is a mystery to me.

Not great results for Ferrari in the sprint.  

Classy of Lando to slow down and let Oscar take the win on the last lap.  Oscar did the same for Lando earlier in the year when Lando was still in contention for the WDC.

Perez man, what is going on there?  

Perez and Colapinto started from the pits with Perez ahead of him.  Light turns green and Perez just sits there.  Colapinto is halfway past Perez before he even moves.  Never gains any ground on Colapinto the entire sprint.  Finally comes in with about 4 laps left and changes his front wing.  It had no damage at all.  The announcers said it was probably just trying something new for the race tomorrow.

But man, Perez has fallen off a cliff this season.

I have not watched it yet.  But not a disaster for Ferrari.  They will be 21 down going into the final race.

Love the spice.  It’s just what the sport needed.  It’s also rekindled the Toto vs. Horner feud.   Too bad it didn’t happen earlier in the season.

Lawson will replace Perez next year at Red Bull. 

Way to screw up and miss on Carlos. Also, bang up job doing it so late and not giving Perez a chance to find another ride.

Carlos on track testing for Williams today.

Imagine driving a Ferrari yesterday and a Williams today.

It’s possible that we could see a complete reshuffling of the deck when the 2026 cars hit the circuit.  The odds are much more in the favor of the big teams but Williams has a shot at being the team that figures it out before the rest.

Rumors that Checo is negotiating with Ferrari to drive for their WEC team. They have won Le Mans the past two years.

Poor choice of cars though.  But I'm probably in the extreme minority on that one.

It’s going to be interesting trying to have two #1 drivers.    Hopefully the cars are fast.  Then again, the faster they are the more problems that will create between Lewis and Charles.
