Exactly what I came here to post. Complete snooze fest without any action at all. Bahrain has been a good circuit for action. We should see another great battle between Max and the McLarens. Archie Posted April 6 Posted April 6 (edited) I’m glad I recorded the race to watch this morning instead of staying up all night. Qualifying was more exciting with the top 3 in Q3 coming in within .05 of a second of each other. Race wasn’t great but it was competitive with all 20 cars finishing and 19 of 20 on the lead lap. I thought Max would fade and get passed by Lando and/or Piastri. Lawson didn’t do much in the Racing Bull and either did Yuki in his new ride. Actually I think this was the first time in Yuki’s F1 career he qualified outside the top 10 at Suzuka. Edited April 6 by Archie Quote
Deleterious Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Both Mercedes received a 1 place grid penalty. This does not reflect that. Quote
Hongbit Posted April 13 Author Posted April 13 Should be a fun one today on a track that you can pass on. I expect Oscar to run away with it. Fortunately for us, a poor Quali for Lando and Max should give some exciting racing as they chase down the leaders for the podium. Also interested to see how young Kimi holds up against these guys. He’s been every bit as good as Toto thought he’d be so far. Quote
Deleterious Posted April 13 Posted April 13 They have no pictures with Charles on the left? Even their social media team sucks. Quote
Deleterious Posted April 13 Posted April 13 Lando might have more talent. But Piastri makes fewer mistakes. Bearman was great tonight. 20th->10th is amazing. I think he has scored points in 3 races this year. Why the hard tires, Ferrari? 1 Quote
Deleterious Posted April 13 Posted April 13 Pretty messed up weekend. First the qualifying issues yesterday. Then today multiple cars with DRS issues. George had his randomly open in a spot he should not have it. They said Leclerc didn't have DRS at all. Probably should just disable it for everyone at that point. Quote
Deleterious Posted April 20 Posted April 20 Charles was a half second faster than Hamilton in qualifying. Carlos has now qualified higher than Hamilton in the last two races. Quote
Deleterious Posted Sunday at 07:57 PM Posted Sunday at 07:57 PM Nice drive from Charles. A bit depressing it took 5 races to get Ferrari's first podium. We have a new leader in the WDC. Quote
Deleterious Posted Monday at 05:12 PM Posted Monday at 05:12 PM Two rules I would change in F1. You can no longer touch a car under a red flag. Stop putting the pole sitter on the outside line of turn 1. Quote
