Deleterious Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 Sharp. They are the first team to reveal the actual car they will run this year. Quote

Deleterious Posted February 9, 2023 Posted February 9, 2023 Ferrari has scheduled their 100km testing of the SF-23 for February 15th at Fiorano. Quote
Deleterious Posted February 9, 2023 Posted February 9, 2023 Not a shock. The places where you would not want to be gay or a woman pay a lot more than normal places. How much Formula 1 circuits are paying to host 2023 Grands Prix Quote
Deleterious Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 If being a pretty car won races Ferrari would never lose. Quote
Deleterious Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 What a great car launch. They had fans in the stands while Carlos and Charles both took a few laps. They had to keep it short so they didn't waste one of their 100km days. I really love the Ferrari on the rear wing. Quote
Deleterious Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 Someone snapped a pic of the pit lane being built in Vegas. Pretty pricy bit of land to sit there unused 51 weeks a year. Quote

Hongbit Posted February 21, 2023 Author Posted February 21, 2023 Like the concept of an improved Wet tire. I’ll wait with some skepticism to see if Pirelli can actually construct it and have it work as intended. Quote
Deleterious Posted February 23, 2023 Posted February 23, 2023 Such a Ferrari thing. The nose with the indent is at high speed. Ferrari confirmed it was a faulty nose and not by design. Quote
Deleterious Posted February 23, 2023 Posted February 23, 2023 A few surprises while doing my morning reading. First, an article about Mercedes and Toto in the WSJ. Then I open The Athletic and see they are starting an F1 section. Quote

Hongbit Posted February 25, 2023 Author Posted February 25, 2023 I wonder if Andretti is even an option anymore since they can seem to keep their mouths shut publicly trashing F1. Quote
Deleterious Posted February 26, 2023 Posted February 26, 2023 You almost forget how good the Ferrari was to start the year. They just never improved the car and Red Bull did. Quote
Deleterious Posted February 26, 2023 Posted February 26, 2023 Guess I missed this. Ferrari’s strategy change focused on improving communication Quote In our day one roundup, we reported that Vasseur had made his first major change since taking charge by appointing a new chief strategist on the pit wall. Iñaki Rueda will now work from Ferrari’s factory in Italy, with Ravin Jain taking over as the strategy lead at the race track. The move came after a series of strategy slip-ups by Ferrari last year, making it a point of scrutiny going into the new season. But Vasseur said upon taking charge he wanted to focus on the processes, not necessarily the people, to improve Ferrari’s strategy approach. When The Athletic asked Vasseur about the change on Saturday in Bahrain, he highlighted the need to improve the flow of communication, particularly when making the split-second calls that can decide races.
