mtutiger
Probably feels good for Jeimer to get off the schneid
Scottwood
I completely forgot that Del Pozo was on the 40 man roster. He'd be my bet for the first DFA whenever that time comes.

Come on man, no draft picks for sucking during spring training...😂😂
Scottwood
Mize's splitter had a lot less spin today (which is good for that pitch). So, he's definitely tweaked it from last year and it drops a lot more. If that is sustainable, that would be huge for his development. The biggest thing he's lacked is a put away pitch. He had that once with his splitter, which used to get 70 grades on the scouting scale. So, hopefully he can get that back. I'm happy to hear he now seems to be sold on the idea of working up only with the 4 seamer. It seamed to me Casey used to try to muscle up on his two seamer and it would flatten out at about the waist and get crushed. It's OK if you mostly throw low with off speed - the more a guy gets out in front on a low pitch the more likely you are to get a nice GB. RandyMarsh
Not sure if it was mentioned elsewhere but our old friend Andrew Miller retired, Maybin retired earlier this offseason as well so that makes Miggy the last man standing from that trade.
