They are just mad b/c Fox and Newsmax hasn't given them their talking points yet.

AI nurses are better than doctors....consider that statement in light of this event.  Calm ATC dealing with a normal situation on a normal night and we had this.

Does anyone remember how torqued Bill Bonds got over the DTW Northwest airlines crash?  That was him at his saltiest.

I was in Phoenix staying with my sister when that happened.  I was 13.  My flight home was the next day.  That plane was going to Phoenix so it was all over the news there.

My first time flying.  I was by myself.  For security reasons they weren't letting non ticketed people into the terminals but my sister threw a fit so they let her go with me.  We flew over the wreckage.

That summer began my love affair with Arizona.  I'd move there tomorrow if I could.  "It's a dry heat"

I had a similar experience this summer driving the Pacific Coast Highway.  I doubt my life ever moves me there but, that experience was amazing.   Remember, Michigan summers are superior to any summer anywhere else.

Yep, from about mid june onwards.  August sometimes gets too hot, I'll never complain, but a few times thinking "Ok... come on".  But late Sept to late Oct area also near perfect.  Those 72 degree days and 52 degree nights.  We don't get that in the spring anymore.  In the spring it goes from 50 to 75 immediately, and it seems later and later.

In northern VA we have a softball tournament on Father's Day weekend also known as punishment weekend for all the bad things you did up above on Earth.  The temps and humidity get pretty nuts.  The winning team is the one that manages sun exposure and heat exhaustion the best.

PCH between LA and SF is the most spectacular thing I've seen in the US.

Its a shame the Lake Michigan shoreline doesn't have better coastal highway situation.  the unique gradient down to the water on the PCH is what really ads to the drama.

One of our favorite getaways was to Oregon. My wife booked a last minute Travelocity trip to the Portland area. We stayed outside the city in a truck stop style motel. I remember this was the weekend the Tigers traded Jeff Weaver.

Anyway we found a roadside fruit stand, bought a bunch of cherries and stuff. Went by Mt Hood then drove the coast from Sunset Beach to about Tillamook spiting cherry seeds out the window.

It was also my introduction to Pinot Gris.

You need not go any further than this thread to see how political it is. It never takes a day off.

If we can’t politicize an incident in which a US army helicopter crashes into a civilian aircraft after the government offers buyouts to every one of its employees with the specific goal of decimating the civil service and replacing lifetime experts with political hack appointees; the SecDef goes on the air to whine about DEI instead of managing a fatal incident on US soil involving aircraft he is responsibility for; and the President of the United States goes on social media to start blaming everyone and anyone instead of fulfilling the traditional role as Comforter-in-Chief—if we can’t politicize an incident even under those circumstances, then we might as well just shut down the political forum right now and stick to baseball.

If you're dreaming of no political forum, then you can always forego posting in the political forum and leave it to the people who don't share your dream.
