Hongbit Posted September 13, 2022 Posted September 13, 2022 (edited) As ridiculous as it seems, I expect flags to be at half mast at Baylor along with a moment of silence at the football game on Saturday. I’m sure Gym Jordan will say something nice about him on Twitter. Edited September 13, 2022 by Hongbit Quote
RatkoVarda Posted September 13, 2022 Posted September 13, 2022 He was also pulling "a Newt"; having an affair while moralizing about slick Willie. Quote
chasfh Posted September 14, 2022 Posted September 14, 2022 The idea was always the investigation itself. The imprimatur of legitimacy is all they really wanted in order to keep the flame alive so they could trade off it. Quote
Dan Gilmore Posted September 14, 2022 Posted September 14, 2022 It certainly worked with Stan. What a dolt. Quote
RatkoVarda Posted September 14, 2022 Posted September 14, 2022 appears as though the Mississippi GOP and Favre stole a lot more than $5m from the poorest people in the country's poorest state. Quote

HooBoy. That's a lot worse take than the early 'adminstrative screwup' reporting on this. Quote
oblong Posted September 14, 2022 Posted September 14, 2022 Super rich people are weird. We did a boat tour this summer near Fort Myers Beach, Estero Island. On the cruise they pointed out a house owned by Brett. The guy said he goes by there 3-4 times a day and for a few years has never seen anybody at the house. The windows and shades are always shut. This house is worth millions. Most of the houses along the water were small, 800-1200 sq foot that go for over $1M. This was a 2 story about 4000 sq foot. So weird. Just a tax thing? Something for a mistress to shut her up? Quote
Deleterious Posted September 15, 2022 Posted September 15, 2022 Most likely an investment. Real estate is arguably the best investment anyone can make. Especially if you use leverage. Although you would think he would want to rent it and generate some cash flow. Quote
