chasfh Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 If Schoop can hit another bomb here that would make the game a lot more interesting. Quote

mtutiger Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 Torkelson homer aside, better ABs afterward. Hope it transfers to the next series Quote

A good OF would of caught a couple of those balls earlier in the game. Its still early so hoping its just getting used to the park and team. Biggest miracle today is that the game didn't get rained out. Quote
mtutiger Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 And just like that.... Tying run to the dish Quote
chasfh Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 Tying run to the plate, after being down seven runs late! Don’t go to sleep on these Tigers! Quote
chasfh Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 Well, at least Miggy made only one out on the at bat. Quote
lordstanley Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 Run Elbowed In. 9-7. Tying run in scoring position. Quote

chasfh Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 Holy crap, plunked Meadows! 9-7! Buh-bye Diekman! He had struck out the heart of the Yankees order swinging all in a row the other night. Quote
chasfh Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 Got three. That’s big. Gotta hold them here though. It should be the best of our bullpen now, whoever that is at the moment. Quote
chasfh Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 OK, so that’s Soto. Which is fine, just … no walks, man, OK? Quote
chasfh Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 (edited) All right stranded the leadoff runner. Let’s score three and go to dinner! Edited April 13, 2022 by chasfh Quote

Expand The deep hole didn't help.... if that lead is held to 5-1 or less, maybe you don't see Drew Hutchison in that situation. Appreciated the fight after Tork's homerun... seemed like they all had better ABs once that happened. Maybe it'll spark them some. Edited April 13, 2022 by mtutiger Quote
chasfh Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 This is the kind of late game fight we routinely saw last year, and—pointedly—not before that. Quote
