Sal had him pretty easily. But how 'bout that Cabrera kid. He's been a  team player with all the talk about being moved down in the line-up but you know he can't like hearing it.

He can still spray line drives, thats a lot more than some other guys in the lineup can say

Yes, there are 6 guys in the lineup who are at or below the Mendoza line and he isn't one of them.

I do think some of the reactions on social media are a bit much.

Bottom line for Mize is what it has always been - he does not throw a great swing and miss FB. so he can't get away with mistakes. Maybe if he commands it better up high there is still some potential there, but in general Casey has to hit the corners with his FB to be effective. When he misses a lot he's going to look like he looked tonight - a lot of struggle. Now to his credit, Mize has a knack for struggling a lot and still not giving up that many runs - which is not nothing.

In terms of pure stuff Skubal and Manning both have more, but only time will tell which of the three makes the most of what they have.

I mostly agree with this.

Will say that, even setting the stuff aside, Manning impresses me with his killer instinct on the mound. I like that he goes after guys and doesn't nibble as much as Mize
